BIOGRAPHY

Born in Hong Kong, Cyrus Wong is a designer, illustrator and artist. The theme of creativity in Cyrus’ work is inspired by the immediate surrounding. Whatever is happening around him, and in the world becomes the source of inspiration and creation. Rich colours form a contradiction with the darkness that exists in the real world. Repeating questions and thinking is the core value in Cyrus’ creativity. Choice is the response to the creation. The work and the viewer are like a conversation, through which people try to watch the world and reflect on life more carefully.

Cyrus Wong has been a finalist and award winner in numerous prestigious design and art competitions. He was the Winner of the 2014, 15th Hong Kong Footwear Design Competition, Winner of the 2015 Design-a-Bag Competition’s Urban Super Fashion Category, and a Finalist in the 2019 Asia illustrations Annual Award. His works have been exhibited in China, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Macau.
