Rules and Regulations

Both Chinese and English versions of the rules and regulations are provided. Please note : In case of any discrepancy, the English version shall prevall.

• Entries fee cannot be refunded or transferred.

• Performers are encouraged to play from memory, but not necessary.  Except Piano Concert Competition Class, Open Class , Open Class for Teachers and Diploma Level MUST performance from memory required.

• Once the video recording has been uploaded, it cannot be changed.

• Performance videos must be submitted as YouTube links, Google Drive links, or Dropbox links. All submissions should be sent to info@eastwest-arts.org.

• Each video must include both the performer’s name and class, clearly indicated within the video itself.

• All submitted videos must have been recorded within the 6 months prior to the competition deadline.

• Video recordings must be done in one complete take (no editing)

• Video recordings must show the performer’s face.

• Winning performances will be uploaded to East West Arts Association’s Facebook page.

• Submitted video recordings must be uploaded to YouTube and made public with a link provided.

• The Jury members decision is final.

• Performer’s in the Gala Concert must perform the same work as that in the video recording link.

• Participation in the Gala Winner’s Concert’s are optional.

• By applying, contestants agree that their video recordings may be featured for competition-related publicity and promotion.

• The Organizers may edit/crop video recordings to share on the competition website, social media, or other official channels.
